Rules that keep every route row honest

Each route in the ledger assumes the notes below. Where a rule changes, the distance, ride time and battery share change with it.

Dismount zones

  1. Khreshchatyk and Maidan. Walk the bike across the pedestrian crossings and the central square.
  2. Mariinskyi Park paths. Ride the asphalt lane only, never the gravel walkways or the stairs by the palace.
  3. Metro underpasses and ramps. Switch the motor off, dismount and carry the bike through.
  4. Embankment promenade after 21:00. Dismount where the path lighting ends.

Riding restrictions

  • No riding on tram rails in Podil. Take the parallel side street instead.
  • 15 km/h on shared pedestrian paths, 25 km/h on all other city streets.
  • Bikes stay outside metro cars, the funicular and shopping arcades.
  • One rider per bike. Child seats and trailers are not part of the fleet.
